Rena Priest + Carla Sameth

Collateral contributors Rena Priest and Carla Sameth will read new work and sign books available for sale. Sameth's poetry and Priest's nonfiction appeared in Collateral's issue 2.2 (May 2018).

Rena Priest is a Lummi Tribal Member and author of Sublime Subliminal and Patriarchy Blues, which also won the 2018 American Book Award.

Carla Sameth is a 2019 West Hollywood Pride Poet whose book, One Day on the Gold Line, was just released. This memoir in essays "tells the story of a lesbian Jewish single mother raising a black son in Los Angeles."

Flora & Phrase will also have a table there, so feel free to pick up a ribbon of language or poem to light your room, after getting copies of Rena’s and Carla’s books!
